What is Dropkin?
Dropkin is a free water tracker and water reminder for iPhone that logs the bottle you already carry in one tap. You save your bottle, glass or mug once with its real capacity and pin it. When it's empty, tap it. Half and quarter buttons sit beside it, a hold opens three quarters or any custom amount, and every log has Undo.
Today's total, your goal and what's left are the first thing you see. Hydration Pace says On pace or A little behind against your own wake-to-sleep hours. Never red, never a lecture.
The point is fewer decisions: one bottle, one tap, back to your day.

How the water reminder works
- Set your unit and goal. Ounces or liters, with round sizes like 8, 16, 24 oz or 250, 500, 750 mL. Your goal shows the other unit beside it.
- Save your vessels. Your work bottle, the big glass, the coffee mug. Repeat Last and favorite amounts are one tap too.
- Let reminders find you, quietly. They only come during your hours, wait after each drink, stop at your goal and get quieter, never louder, if you ignore them. Log straight from the notification.
Reminders that stop once you're done are the whole idea.
Water you can feel, if you want it
Today's water fills an animated vessel. Tilt your phone and it leans; touch it and ripples spread. A Flow Bead rolls through, with nine materials to earn. A small companion notices every pour, and your home world (The Grove, The Reef, The Sky or The Lotus Pond) blooms on Goal Days.

How much water should you aim for?
There's no single number. Mayo Clinic (2026) describes about 2.7 to 3.7 liters of total fluid a day for an average healthy adult, from all drinks and food, and notes that food supplies about 20% of it. The CDC (2026) suggests a simple habit: carry a reusable water bottle with you.
That second tip is the reason Dropkin exists. You choose your own goal; Dropkin just makes the bottle easy to count. It is not a medical device and does not work out your hydration needs. This is general information, not medical advice. Talk to your clinician.
Pick a goal that fits your life, then make logging the smallest possible job.
Free vs Pro: what you actually get
| Free | Dropkin Pro (optional) |
|---|---|
| Unlimited logging and saved vessels | All four worlds |
| Reminders and Hydration Pace | 23 Pro styles |
| Widgets, Apple Watch, Siri and Shortcuts | Saved Looks with Auto-Look |
| 30-day history and CSV export | 90-day and full-year history |
| Every Flow Bead and water tint, 38 earnable styles | Monthly, annual (free trial if eligible) or one-time lifetime |
Anything you earn stays yours if Pro ends.
A design decision, a limit, and who should skip it
The decision: extra water past your goal earns nothing. No bonus points, no bigger bloom. We didn't want a cute water world to become a reason to overdo it.
The limit: Apple Health sync is write-only. Dropkin saves dietary water to Health, but it won't pull in drinks logged by other apps.
Pick something else if you want caffeine, calorie or electrolyte tracking, or a coach that tells you how much to drink. Dropkin counts water toward a goal you set, and that's all.
Water tracker questions
Is Dropkin free?
Yes. The full water tracker is free: unlimited logging, saved vessels, reminders, Hydration Pace, widgets, Apple Watch, Shortcuts, 30-day history and 38 earnable styles. Optional Dropkin Pro adds all four worlds, 23 Pro styles, saved Looks and 90-day and full-year history (monthly, annual or one-time lifetime).
Does Dropkin work in ounces and milliliters?
Yes. Pick oz or mL and liters on the first screen. Sizes and goals use round numbers in your unit, and you can switch anytime; your history converts exactly.
Will the reminders nag me all day?
No. They only arrive during your wake-to-sleep hours, stay quiet when you're on pace, wait after each drink, stop once you reach your goal and get quieter if you ignore them.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The Watch app shows today's progress with your pinned bottle as the big button, plus quick amounts and a Digital Crown custom amount. Drinks sync to your iPhone and are counted once.
Does Dropkin need an account or the internet?
No account and no sign-up. It works offline and your history is stored on your device. Apple Health sync is optional and write-only.
How much water should I drink a day?
Needs vary with your body, activity and climate. Dropkin tracks a goal you choose; it does not set medical targets. If you have a health condition, ask your clinician what is right for you.
